Hola and Bonjour!
Smartypants Spanish & French Clubs are a great way to introduce your child to languages.
Whether they are in pre-school, Reception, KS1 or KS2 - we have the perfect class for them delivered by an experienced language specialist and packed with FUN, FUN, FUN!
Each week, your child will explore the language by learning about things that suit their interests depending on their age and stage. We'll learn how to make friends, our greetings, colours, foods, birthdays and much more! We learn new numbers in every lesson and celebrate cultural events relevant to the country/language we are learning about.
Our classes aim to nurture confidence to have a go, reward listening and speaking and spark creativity! Our fast paced, energetic, active learning approach keeps children engaged all the way through!
Pre-School Classes
Early Years learning is our specialism. We know what little people love to learn about and how to nurture their love of languages! We inspire them by keeping all learning play based using lots of runaround games, craft, singsongs and favourite stories. As well as being really fun, lessons are structured in a way that helps children get ready for big school, by mirroring the EYFS learning goals.
Primary school lunchtime and after school clubs
All our Clubs aim to shake off the busy school day and give children a really fun and immersive language learning experience that they'll look forward to every week! Language is taught using an 'active learning' approach so playground games, dance and movement play a big part. We also focus on the core skills of language learning - writing, reading, listening and speaking using really fun topics that the children enjoy. Our Smartypants leave primary school loving languages and feeling confident and fully prepared to take on the challenges of language learning at high school!
All School Language Provision and PPA Cover
We also love teaching French or Spanish as part of the school day across both Key Stages. It's a great way to ensure the whole school is learning a language and your teachers have that all important PPA time.
- 5 weeks per half term or all year round
- Same teacher every week
- Teaching can be done across 1 day or 2 days depending on your timetable needs.
